According to the Concept for the Development of Distance Education in Ukraine, approved by the Decree of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated December 20, 2000, distance education is considered a form of education equivalent to full-time, evening, part-time and external studies, which is implemented mainly using distance learning technologies.

Forms of education and programs
STUDENT is a form of distance learning, which is carried out under the supervision of teachers from the «Optima» Education Center. Students systematically and by lessons study all the subjects of the corresponding class in accordance with the Working curriculum of the "Optima Education Center", developed in accordance with the curricula of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. At the end of school, a document on education of a unified state standard is issued for the corresponding level of education (report card, certificate, certificate).
EXTERN is a form of study suitable for students wishing to accelerate the completion of one or more classes. The student independently studies the school subjects of the corresponding class and submits only a limited number of tests for assessment.
All subjects of grades 1-11, which are interactively and interestingly taught at the Distance School «Optima», correspond to the list of school subjects of the curriculum of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
The «Optima» Education Center provides students with additional opportunities:

Information for applicants - the most transparent and convenient admission
To enroll in the «Optima» distance school without the physical presence of the applicant, using the means of electronic and postal communication.
For admission to the «Optima» Education Center, you must submit the following documents:
- statement of parents or persons replacing them (a sample statement is sent on request);
- a copy of the child's birth certificate;
- student's (student's) personal file;
- certificate of basic general secondary education (for students who graduated from grade 9);
- 1 photograph, size 3x4 cm.
Families from the occupied territories of Ukraine, in order to simplify the admission procedure, are allowed not to provide the child's personal file and medical card from the place of study. Upon enrollment, the school administration independently draws up the student's personal file.
